Victim Assistance

Through the Lone Peak Victim Assistance Program, assistance is offered to victims of violent crimes. Such assistance is offered to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, homicide, stalking, harassment, suicide, and other crimes that involve a victim. Communication is kept confidential, except in cases where mandatory disclosure is required by law. All services are provided free of charge. The Lone Peak Victims Assistance program is designed to assist families in breaking the cycle of violence and to assist them in becoming independent and abuse free. The program works to help individuals and families access community resources, develop safety plans, and provide education and encouragement to make changes in their lives. Our goal is it to increase the safety of every victim.


Victim Assistance can help a victim by providing:

-Service Referrals (Counseling, Housing etc.)

-Assistance in Developing Safety Plans

-Support for Victim and the Family

-Assistance in Filling out Protective Orders

-Information on Crime Victim Reparations (CVR)

-Criminal Justice Support

-A listening ear
